Every year, on October 16, Americans observe National Boss Day. Also referred to as Bosses Day, A Chance to Thank Your Boss Who Keeps Us Gainfully Employed! So, if you have the good fortune to have a great boss who keeps you successful and teaches you how to advance, now is a great time to thank him for everything that he does for you.
In 1958, Patricia Bays Haroski founded National Boss's Day in memory of her father, who also served as her employer. She instituted the holiday to foster better working relationships between managers and their subordinates and to bring attention to the dedication that managers put into their positions. If the 16th of October falls on a weekend, then this day is celebrated on the closest working day.

Blog Conclusion: Everything just seems easy when you’re in someone’s shoes doesn’t it? This might also mean that bosses aren’t immune to criticism or disappointments as well. Just remember that it is only because they have been in their position before and made mistakes before that they are able to understand where you are coming from and deliver an effective message.
